Clare approaches therapy from a person-centered, trauma-informed perspective, creating a space where clients can show up authentically without fear of judgment. Clare understands that meaningful change happens within the context of a trusting therapeutic relationship, and she works collaboratively with each client to explore the experiences that have shaped them while building on their existing strengths. Her goal is to help clients move toward lasting growth at a pace that feels safe, empowering, and true to who they are.

Clare earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Social Work from the University at Buffalo before becoming a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York State. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of behavioral health and community settings, including crisis intervention, victim advocacy, forensic social work, care management, and child welfare. Her experience includes serving on a Behavioral Health Team alongside the Buffalo Police Department, supporting individuals experiencing psychiatric crises, advocating for survivors of violence through the Erie County Child Advocacy Center, and coordinating care for medically complex individuals and families. These experiences have strengthened her ability to remain calm during moments of crisis while providing compassionate, evidence-based care that honors each person's unique story.

Clare works with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and emotional overwhelm. She believes that therapy is about more than reducing symptoms; it is about helping people reconnect with themselves, understand their experiences, and develop healthier ways of coping and relating to others. Her approach is collaborative and individualized, recognizing that every client brings their own strengths, resilience, and goals into the therapeutic process.

Drawing from her background in behavioral health, crisis response, and interdisciplinary collaboration, Clare combines evidence-based practices with genuine compassion to help clients build confidence and resilience. She is passionate about empowering individuals to move beyond survival, cultivate self-understanding, and create lives that feel more connected, meaningful, and fulfilling.

Whether someone is seeking support during a difficult life transition or working to heal from longstanding challenges, Clare strives to provide a warm, supportive environment where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered to move forward with hope.
